I don’t think I’ll even be able to leave this fandom as long as people keep saying all those awful things. I have this desperate need to somehow protect Will and Chris, even Mia (though I’m definitely not her biggest fan), and I know it’s kind of childish. They are adults, they don’t need anyone ‘taking care’ of them, fandom-wise.

Offensive rude comments shouldn’t be left alone because a poster might think that it’s okay to say these things. But we’re fighting, everyone is trying to out-scream and out-smart each other - and I’m pretty sure Chris, Will and Mia wouldn’t want us to do that, even if we are obviously defending them. Sort of a deadlock we’ve arrived at here. 

I wish someday we will respect other human beings and learn that we can control our negative emotions, and it can make our life so much better.
